Introduction

May I introduce you to Chandy’s Constructions which with the blessing of my parents, I founded in 1994 with my brothers Jose Kuruvilla, Thomas Kuruvilla and Achankunju Kuruvilla. I am Mathew Kuruvilla, a Civil engineer, and the Managing Partner of Chandy’s Construction and Chandys Homes, a development of Chandy’s Constructions. 
Since 1994, I have been responsible for a variety of buildings, including houses, apartments, schools, university complexes, and religious houses. For these I have received a number of awards.

To-day, Chandy’s Construction Company is the proud possessor of the Quality Management System Certificate ISO 9001:2000.

Currently under construction are flats and shopping complexes, in addition to the above mentioned.

Last year Chandy’s Homes was set up under the umbrella of the Construction Company, and work on a riverside luxury block of flats in Kottayam has been commenced. Cheer Square is our next project along with some villas on the Puthupally route, near the main road. Similar projects will be the main focus of our work in future.

I regard it as important that I maintain close contact with my workers at all stages, and my Site Engineers know I will visit each site regularly, and at least once a week. This relationship is imperative for the smooth running of each project. I also take a personal interest in the labourers and all know they can approach me with any problems. Each team member has an important role in the construction of each building and thus we can guarantee each building will be safe, well-built, and completed on time. There will never be any compromise on safety standards nor quality.

My Engineers have a study day every 6 months to be up-dated on current developments and requirements, and to be taught about geological issues in relation to their work.

I work with an award- winning architect and am very proud of my buildings which are not only structurally sound, but are very beautiful.
